Custom Local Control Panels

Coast to Coast Signal Engineering now offers Custom Local Control Panels that can be built for a large variety of applications. Each panel is custom made to match your exact situation and specifications.

CTC’s panels start with high quality 1/8” aluminum stock and can be given a black powder coat finish with laser engraving for a white / silver on black appearance. The powder coated panel offers a non-reflective surface and texture that has proven to be extremely durable and very suitable for LCP applications. Alternately, our panels can be made utilizing the latest state of the art photographic process creating a “black on silver” look. The photo process panel is abrasion, solvent, chemical, and heat resistant with no loss of legibility up to 750 degrees Fahrenheit! Both of these processes yield a very clear and precise image that is easily read and tough enough to withstand even the most severe environmental conditions for many years.

All components that go into CTC’s Local Control Panels are individually selected to be the highest quality available for the specific application. Non-Relampable LED’s utilize one piece construction with a prominent chrome bezel enclosed in a brass housing. They are provided in 6V or 12V ratings in red, yellow, green or amber and can be sized from 3mm to 7mm. CTC’s Relampable LED’s are a combination LED indicator housed in a momentary contact push button switch. Replaceable LED’s are used with a colored cap available in red, green, yellow, blue and white. The toggle switches used have a duty cycle rating of 100,000 make and break cycles and are enclosed in a stainless steel housing with a brass actuator for added reliability.

Keyed switches can also be provided for added safety and to prevent unauthorized use of the panel.

Virtually any size panel can be provided by Coast to Coast and we include all necessary Microstation or other artwork files required for panel production. CTC can provide panels ranging in size from the 12”X17” standard for mounting on custom local control boxes to much larger panels requiring a Hoffman Box type enclosure. Panels sized for mounting in a standard 19” rack are available, as well as larger panels such as those used for drawbridge controls, manned or unmanned interlocking controls and a host of other applications. In most cases panels can be provided complete within 30 days from receipt of your purchase order.
