Coast to Coast Signal Engineering (CTC) has been in business since 1991. The signal engineering services we provide
our customers helps ensure the safe and expeditious movement of trains across networks of thousands of miles of
railroad tracks to include the engineering of both wayside signaling and at-grade highway crossing warning devices.
We have provided services to most North America’s Class 1 railroads including the Burlington Northern Santa Fe
Railway, CSX Transportation, Santa Fe Railroad and Union Pacific Railroad. Additionally, we have provided services
to numerous short-line railroads and several large engineering firms.
We are a highly competent Signal Engineering firm with the capacity and knowledge to complete all types and levels of signal engineering projects. This includes wayside design, highway crossing design, software design and "As-In-Service." The experience of our associates, and their focus on quality, enable us to get the job done right the first time! We have been rated by a major Class 1 railroad as being their highest quality signal design contractor, and have earned that rating for the last several consecutive years.
CTC also offers project management, construction management, field engineering and project estimating services. These services can be tailored to meet our customer’s specific needs.
While CTC recruits experienced signal design engineers, we are also committed to recruiting, training and developing young engineers to become signal design engineers. CTC’s commitment to training and developing “our own” is a cornerstone of which our company is built upon, and which makes both our associates and our company successful.
